    Title: Systems Administrator/Programmer

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, test and deploy new services for customers.
    • Develop, test and deploy new, web-based tools for internal use.
    • Build and maintain web server for 100+ web sites.
    • Build and maintain email servers to handle email for approximately 12000 accounts.
    • Build and maintain RADIUS servers for dial-up authentication for approximately 6700 dial-up users.
    • Build and maintain DNS servers which are authoritative for aprroximately 280 domains. Setup secondary domains for common RBLs.
    • Build and maintain billing servers to handle automated billing of Amigo.Net customers. Link billing server to RADIUS and email servers to automatically add, delete, modify and disable accounts based on billing status.
    • Build and maintain broadband diagnostic servers for troubleshooting broadband customers and backbone links.
    • Build and maintain the web server for Colorado State Courts.
    • Troubleshoot backbone and customer wireless/DSL problems.
    • Work with schools to examine web, spam and virus filtering solutions.

Open Source Contributions and Projects

  • 2004-Present - vuser

    Project administrator and lead developer for vuser, a console-based application that is used to manage users and domains for the courier mail server.

  • 2003-Present - Network Watchman

    Project administrator and lead developer for Network Watchman, a web-based application used to monitor broadband customers and backbone systems.

  • 2003-Present - SpamAssassin+SQL SquirrelMail plug-in

    Develop and maintain a plug-in to the SquirrelMail web-mail system to allow users to modify selected SpamAssassin settings.

  • 2002 - Linux in Schools Lab Test

    Built a demonstration school lab at Adams State Collage to examine the feasability of deploying Linux in a school lab using older machines and terminal servers.
