Saturday was a very interesting day. My wife went into labor early that morning. This was not unexpected as she was a couple days past her due date. That afternoon, she gave birth to a beautiful little girl. Brenna is now just a couple of days old but has brought great joy to our family.

Unfortunatly, Brenna's birth was not all that happened. My oven decided to stop heating that morning while I tried to make muffins. It turns out that someone bumped the 'Manual Cooking' knob on the timer but it took a $60 service call to find that out. I now, officially, feel like a moron.

But wait! There's more! Yes, that's right. I'm now the proud owner of a clogged septic system. The toilet is seriously clogged and floods when too much water goes down the system e.g. when one of the kids lets the water out of their bath. We're still waiting for the plumber to come fix it.
